Centa Transmissions Ltd are mechanical power transmission engineers who serve mainly the UK market for flexible power transmission couplings and speed reducers. Since its foundation in 1979, Centa Transmissions Ltd has provided full engineering solutions to customer problems in our areas of mechanical power transmission. The flexible coupling business is based on product and additional expertise from Centa Antriebe Kirschey GmbH and is generally aimed at diesel engine driven equipment where the application engineering experience has been gained over many years. Industrial applications are also serviced as the versatility of the coupling design allows easy adaptation to all forms of mechanical power transmission. The market sector for speed reducers lies in bespoke engineering of cycloidal, planetary and spiral bevel gear reducers, offering 'power pack' or integrated assemblies, or component parts. A major feature of the speed reducers are the high torsional stiffness, low or zero backlash units if required and compact size compared to conventional gear reducers. Centa Transmissions Ltd, provides Application Engineering expertise to promote its products, together with in-house design and manufacture of adaptors and final assembly including free-issue motors. Centa Transmissions Ltd supports its products and those its principals with technical literature, sales, service and spares, providing its customers with quality engineering and manufactured product on time at a competitive price.
