This has resulted in a modern manufacturing department with in-house capacity in all disciplines of manufacture of our core product, geared components, supported by the latest computer controlled scheduling system. The manufacturing facility is enhanced by a world class engineering organisation with state of the art CAD/CAE tools, enabling Ricardo to maintain its position as a leader in the field of transmission systems design and manufacture. NEW EQUIPMENT UPDATE Additional to our already extensive manufacturing facilities, we now have the state of the art CNC Gear Grinding and CNC Gear Measuring capability following our recent investment in an Oerlikon Opal 80 CNC Gear Grinder and a Klingelnberg Gear Measuring Machine. This equipment enables us to grind both external and internal, straight spur and helical gears to the finest quality standards.
