CNC GEAR CUTTING: Renown leads the field in carbide hobbing on a LIEBHERR LC282 gear hobbing machine. This is a heavy duty CNC controlled machine with hydraulic clamping and an automatic loading system. This machine is in addition to the 2 CNC PFAUTER gear hobbing machines, and further enhances an already impressive gear cutting section. CNC GEAR MEASURING CENTRE: State of the art technology in gear metrology, A4 plotted graphs of profile, lead, adjacent pitch, cumulative pitch and total runout ensure that the standard criteria are met.
