| Established for more than 100 years, Davall Gears has over 200 machine tools, including many CNC machines enabling it to produce and inspect all standard gear forms. The Hatfield-based company uses, 8 axis CNC gear grinding and 4 axis CMM gear checking capability to make small to medium size batches of precision gears, and Gleason machines for both straight and spiral bevels. Davall Gears also operate a 4 axis CNC worm/thread grinding machine for the production of both worm and wheel as well as the Spiradrive ® gear system, which is a unique solution for requirements of low backlash, high accuracy and maximum torque capacity for a given envelope size. |
