The Annual Congress of the British Gear Association has become an established international forum for all subjects relating to gears and mechanicla transmission components.
<P>
The 1999 Congress will again be run in conjunction with the Drives & Controls Conference and Exhibition at the Telford International Centre.
<P>
Papers are invited from all sectors of the industry for consideration and those covering theory, practice and applications in the following areas will be of particular interest.

The 1999 Mobil Oil Prize of £250 will be awarded to the authors of the best written paper.
<P>
Details of proposed papers, giving title, authors, sponsors and a 150-250 word summary should be submitted to the BGA by 1 September 1998.
