Do You Understand Gear Rating? Would you like to know more? Applying the latest analysis methods could save you money and make your company more competitive. This Workshop will give you the opportunity to explore and apply the stress analysis procedures published in ISO 6336, which was revised in 2006 and discuss ideas and implicatins with other members of the industry.

Increasingly, gear users are requesting that their suppliers calculate tooth bending and contact stresses (and hence load capacity) in accordance with the latest ISO 6336 standard. Even when no such request is made, it still makes sense for gear designers to use the most recently published techinques. However, the latest standards are rather daunting for those who are new to them so the purpose of this workshop is to help people to desing better gears by introducting them to these procedures.
