The Seminar will introduce delegates to gear geometry inspection. Although the seminar focuses on cylindrical gears, the principles apply to other gear types. No prior gear knowledge is required.
It provides manufacturers with the knowledge to select appropriate measuement methods and equipment, appreciate the importance of applying good measurement practice and how to correctly inerpret measurement results. It is applicable to inspection, manufacturing, design and supervisory staff - anyone who has to make decisions about acceptance of gears to a standard.
The Seminar covers:
ISO terms and symbols and measured parameters.
Key skills and Knowledge:
At the end of the seminar you will be able to select appropriate measurement processes, understand the terms, symbols and parameters that are measured, confidently interpret measurement results sheets to a standard and apply good measurement practice strategies.
