Technical & Research

Responsibilities

The Technical & Research Management Committee will meet on a regular basis to discuss both technical and research matters related to the BGA and will be responsible for the following:

Technical

1. Organisation and setting-up of the venue and presentations for the Technical & Research meetings (Engineering Forums)
2. Coordinate the planning and dates for the knowledge transfer seminars
3. Assist if necessary with the planning and presentation for the BGA Annual Event
4. Be responsible for the dissemination of information to the BGA Membership

Research

1. Find a way to allow research projects to continue within the framework of the BGA for the mutual benefit of the members
2. Initiate new projects of interest to the membership and bring interested parties together
3. Work with Universities and other Trade Associations to bring the latest knowledge on the state of the art on gearing and related matters to the knowledge of the BGA members
