BGA 2024 REVIEW: NETWORKING

In 2024, the British Gear Association (BGA) has had a remarkable year filled with enthusiasm and collaboration through our Technical Awareness Days (TADs).

More than 250 delegates joined us for TAD's at BGA Members Sempre Group, SMT, Design Unit at Newcastle University, and Hexagon MI state of the art facilities. Increasing participation in these events emphasises the importance of staying updated on the latest developments and trends affecting the industry.

These events have not only showcased advancements in the gear industry but have also served as a vital platform for networking among peers.

As we enter an increasingly virtual world, networking at TADs enables participants to learn, share, and connect in person. At its essence, networking is about building relationships. It involves exchanging ideas, sharing expertise, and cultivating a collaborative atmosphere that benefits everyone involved.

Host a Technical Awareness Day in 2025

Looking ahead to 2025, the BGA invites more organisations collaborate on Technical Awareness Days. If your company is eager to showcase your innovations or share expertise our upcoming calendar has available spaces, and we encourage interested parties to reach out by contacting Kirsty and Lynne the BGA office via email at admin@bga.org.uk.

The future of the gear industry relies on collective participation and collaboration among all stakeholders. By working together, we can enhance our capabilities and address upcoming challenges effectively.

We look forward to welcoming both new and returning attendees at future events. Together, let’s drive progress and innovation forward!
