We had the pleasure of exhibiting at the NEAA. We were delighted to be joined this year by BGA members Design Unit Newcastle .

We think it is safe to say the North East is thriving!

We had a visit from Wardley Primary School who are keen to incorporate our BGA Primary Gears Workshops into their gears, pullies and levers curriculum.

We engaged with several training providers in the hope to collaborate and offer additional training to support their young apprentices in developing their gear knowledge as they complete their machining apprenticeships.

We also had the pleasure to meet students doing the IMECHE Student Formula Prize Competition which BGA Sponsors.

During the day we held a competition to win a Tub of Celebrations by sharing with us your dream road trip destination.

Congratulations to Paul Blythe from Applied Integration who's name popped up on our random name generator spin the wheel ! That tub of Celebrations is winging its way to you now!

Here's a selection of the dream destinations our visitors shared with us:

  • Europe Road Trip

  • Great Ocean Road, Australia

  • India

  • National Parks USA

  • Route 66

  • Transylvania

  • Tuscany Italy

  • Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland

What's yours?

Well, that's a wrap from us for this week!

If you have any questions about this exhibition or would like to suggest any other exhibitions where you'd like representation or if you missed us and are thinking about joining the BGA – please don’t hesitate to get in touch admin@bga.org.uk

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend when it arrives.
