BGA members – Free heath checks on your gear measuring machine.

The BGA measurement Special Interest group has 3 gears that are available for BGA members to verify their gear measurement performance.

The process is easy - we send you the gear and measurement instructions, you measure the gear and send the results to the UK National Gear Measurement Lab (NGML). They analyse the results and estimate your measurement uncertainty, showing your measuring machine capability.

It is essentially a free of charge calibration.
