Exciting Opportunity - Seeking Appointment – Chair of the BGA

After twelve years of leadership Graham Penning is stepping down from Chairing the BGA and is due to retire. We are inviting interested parties to put their name forward for consideration to take on the role. These are big shoes to fill, but we are confident that there will be suitable candidates to help drive the vision, mission and goals of the BGA into the new chapter.

Timescales:

We would like to appoint the new Chair so Graham can formally step down at the AGM in June 2024.

Role Expectations:

The Chair of the Executive Committee role sets and steers the direction of the BGA. It is a volunteer role and the successful candidate would be listed as a Director with Companies House. Chair commitments would include attendance and chairing of 4 Executive meetings per annum and all responsibility and communication relating to the BGA Chair role.

For further details, please see the Articles of Association attached or e-mail admin@bga.org.uk for more details.

Process:

If you are interested in finding out more, please e-mail admin@bga.org.uk for further details.

The Executive Committee will review all expressions of interest and the incoming Chair will be agreed at the AGM in June.
