The British Gear Association are delighted to partner with BGA Member Design Unit at Newcastle University to host a joint Technical Awareness Day (TAD) at their state of the art facilities in Newcastle upon Tyne on 26th September.

In addition to the great programme Design Unit have put together, there will be plenty of opportunity to network with BGA Members from the leading Gear and Transmission companies, manufacturers, distributors, and academics around the UK.

This will be your chance to share prospects, discuss challenges and promote your interests to likeminded people.

Please note there are limited spaces available so please book early to avoid disappointment.

The open day will include:

Technical Presentations and a tour of Design Unit facilities. The visit will include the National Gear Metrology lab, gear fatigue test labs, materials characterisation facilities, and other specialist test apparatus.

The event is suitable for anyone involved in design, analysis, and measurement of gears or anyone who is interested in the work and research we undertake here at the Design Unit.

Lunch and refreshments provided throughout the day.
