The BGA are proud to have supported the EURAMET Met4Wind project for the past 2 years and we are very excited to see the results of the work undertaken.


Met4Wind are hosting a workshop to present the results to which all BGA Members are invited. Please see details below.


About the Workshop


The Met4Wind project is drawing to a close and we are eager to share the exciting results which have been achieved. We therefore invite you to join us at the


International Workshop on Dimensional Metrology for Large Drivetrain Components on June 28, 2023.


The workshop will be held at PTB in Braunschweig, Germany and also online. Please register for this free workshop here: www.ptb.de/met4wind/registration


As seen in the agenda (download below), topics will include:

- Optical and multi-sensor measurement systems for mechanical components of WES

- Improved measurement and evaluation methods for surfaces of WES drivetrain components

- Digital twin for metrology enhanced reliability validation

- Digital in-line metrology for rotor-bearing system manufacturing and improved rotational accuracy
