About the event.

Hexagon MI the British Gear Association (BGA) are holding a Technical Awareness Day on Gear Measuring Technology at the Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence technical centre and showroom in Telford on Thursday July 7th.

This is your opportunity to update yourselves on the new measurement and evaluation methods that are available for gears. A variety of measurement methods will be demonstrated on a range Hexagon products, as well as demonstrations of Hexagon’s Romax Design & Simulation software showing you how we can use measured gear data to predict gear performance. We will include conventional tactile measurement, advanced non-contact and laser scanning, Ultra-High Accuracy sensors and best output methodologies for differing use cases.

This event will be how new technologies and evaluation strategies will complement the established measurement methods.

To register offline please contact the BGA Office admin@bga.org.uk

The proceedings will include guest speakers and there will be plenty of opportunity to network with the leading Gear companies, manufacturers, distributors and academics. This will be your chance to share opportunities, discuss challenges and promote your interests to likeminded people. Lunch will be provided.
