Virtual Gear Foundation 1
Date: 2nd, 3rd & 4th September
This foundational course prepares newcomers by covering basic gear design and manufacturing principles.
Virtual Gear Geometry
Date: 9th, 10th, 16th & 17th September
Understanding gear geometry is vital for creating efficient systems. Participants will learn how to enhance gear efficiency through design precision.
Surface Integrity Part 2 (In Person - Newcastle)
Date: 17th September
This interactive course explores surface quality and treatments of gears and includes a Tour of Design Unit.
Fundamentals of Parallel Axis Gear Manufacturing (In Person - Sheffield)
Date: 17th & 18th September (2 days)
This interactive course explores the fundamentals of gears, provides a comprehensive reference manual for all things gears and a tour of Ondrives facilities.
Virtual Gear Measurement
Date: 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th September & 1st October
This course emphasises the importance of precision measurement, teaching attendees how to accurately assess gear characteristics and reduce manufacturing errors.
Virtual Member Focus Session with Hewland Engineering
Date: 24th September
In this session Hewland Engineering will discuss how their new ‘state of the art’ testing facility has provided them with the capability to close the loop on the design and development of their gearboxes.
