BGA Annual General Meeting: 12th June 2025

The BGA Annual General Meeting is being held at University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) on Thursday 12th June 2025 10:00 am. In addition to the usual AGM business attendees are invited to join a tour of University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) .


Please note spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. To register to attend the AGM please contact Kirsty & Lynne in the BGA Office - admin@bga.org.uk

The AGM is where we reflect on the previous year and Members will also be given a chance to put forward any ideas you have for the BGA for 2025/2026. Download Agenda below.


BGA Executive Council Vacancies

We will also be reviewing applications for the BGA executive council. If you would like to be more directly involved in the management of the BGA please consider putting your name forward for election to our executive council, where there are vacancies. Please contact the BGA Office for an application form.

The British Gear Association (BGA) is a trade association that promotes the technical and commercial interests of manufacturers, distributors, academics and others involved in the Power Transmissions industry in the United Kingdom.

 

The Association speaks with authority on behalf of the industry both nationally and internationally and its ability to help companies and individuals involved in the industry is widely recognised by government, the media and industry. The Association is well-represented on British and International Standard committees and provides the Chair of the British Standards Institution's MCE/5 Committee on Gearing.
