NEW Surface Integrity Part 2 (In Person): 17th September

This interactive course explores surface quality and treatments of gears

Course full Fundamentals of Parallel Axis Gears (In Person): 17th & 18th September

Designed for entry-level gear manufacturing personnel including manufacturing management, engineers, supervisors, set-up technicians, operators, and quality control.

Virtual Gear Measurement: 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th September & 1st October

This course emphasises the importance of precision measurement, teaching attendees how to accurately assess gear characteristics and reduce manufacturing errors.

Virtual Member Focus Session: 24th September 2:00pm

In this session Hewland Engineering will discuss how their new ‘state of the art’ testing facility has provided them with the capability to close the loop on the design and development of their gearboxes.  This increased capability has allowed Hewland to further diversify into new sectors; utilising their expertise of working in the fast-paced world of motorsport to design, develop and manufacture fully validated bespoke aerospace gearboxes within a short timeframe.

Virtual Gear Foundation 2: 14th, 15th & 16th October

Building upon the first course, this training offers a deeper dive into gear specifics for those ready to expand their expertise.

NEW TECHNICAL AWARENESS DAY: State of the Art Introduction to Transmission and Gearbox Design and Analysis: 14th October Birmingham University

The day will explore the conceptualisation, design and analysis of transmission components and systems using the KISSsoft suit of design software tools.

Gear Wear & Failure Recognition (In Person): 22nd October

Participants will learn to recognize signs of wear and impending failure in gear systems, ultimately improving maintenance practices and reducing downtime.

Virtual Gearbox Systems: Problems & Solutions: 29th & 30th October

This course addresses common gearbox issues, offering practical solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Virtual Gear Noise Data Interpretation & Diagnostics: 12th & 13th November

Learn to identify and address underlying problems indicated by noise in gear systems, which can save companies significant repair costs.

NEW Virtual Design and Performance Rating Procedures for Plastic Gears: 3rd & 4th December

This specialized course focuses on plastic gears, a crucial material in modern gear design, bolstering your design skills.
