Working hard for members: BGA TRMC (Technical Research Management Committee) at ZF Services

On 4th June the BGA held the TRMC (Technical Research Management Committee) Meeting in person at ZF Services in Shirley, Birmingham. (The ZF Aftermarket Brands Portfolio - ZF Aftermarket)

Thank you to colleagues who made it to the meeting and thank you to Dave Coleman from ZF and colleagues for hosting and giving colleagues a detailed tour of the facilities.

About the TRMC

TRMC colleagues meet monthly online to discuss and progress various aspects of BGA course provision, standards development, research into Gears to support members aswell as organise the annual Gears Conference and provide a technical support line for members.

This June meeting centred on progressing the fabulous feedback you have provided us with this year on our Training Provision; which things to keep, that are going well within our courses and things we need to improve on.

Dave Coleman from ZF Services is Chair of the Technical Research Management Committee, he works alongside colleagues from a host of different member organisations including: Newcastle Design Unit, ARMC, Contact Engineering, Hexagon, Allen Gears, Kisssoft, Reliance, Mini Gears, Rotork, Davall, Leonardo, Dynamechs and Olsen Actuators.

We were so impressed with the different aspects of services and projects going on at ZF Services in Shirley, we're trying to persuade ZF to host a Technical Awareness Day to share the experience with wider membership
