Here at the British Gear Association (BGA) we know our Members are at the forefront of Gearing developments world wide and we love to share the fantastic work.

On 24th September 2025 the BGA hosted Hewland Engineering at a Virtual Member Focus Session where they told delegates all about their new testing facilities.

If you missed this session or would like to re-watch we have uploaded the webinar to our the videos page on our website and our Youtube channel. Be sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel so you receive notification whenever we upload a new video.

In this session Hewland Engineering will discuss how their new ‘state of the art’ testing facility has provided them with the capability to close the loop on the design and development of their gearboxes.  This increased capability has allowed Hewland to further diversify into new sectors; utilising their expertise of working in the fast-paced world of motorsport to design, develop and manufacture fully validated bespoke aerospace gearboxes within a short timeframe.
